Thanks to the unusually wide range of colours, which range from bright accent colours to harmonious earth tones, SlimSophie integrates effortlessly into any environment. The high, chintz-covered shade only influences the colour of the light more strongly if there are no other light sources in the room. Most of the light escapes through the openings at the top and bottom of the shade, which itself produces a soft light. It is supported by a base made of shiny powder-coated round steel material, which makes the lamp both light and stable.
With its small footprint, just a little bigger than a sheet of A4 paper, SlimSophie easily finds its place in the corner of a room and basically requires very little space to be effective. Thanks to its tall and slim design, it has a fresh, elegant look and is not only suitable as a reading light, but also for atmospheric lighting in the living room or bedroom.
The light bulb requires a standard E27 socket, can be replaced at any time, making the lamp future-proof. SlimSophie is available in different versions: with a foot switch on the floor or a pull switch on the socket. Both versions are available with Dim To Switch LED. Dim To Switch enables dimming via the switch in three levels: full brightness, a cozy version and a candlelight setting, which is also suitable as a night light. The included LED offers 1520 lumens at 14 watts consumption (equivalent to an old 100W light bulb) and a warm light color of 2700K.
